A Browse Table is a special window with a scrolling database and highlight bar.
You can sort table entries by different categories by clicking the Tabs at the top of each table. You can also sort by even more specific categories within the tables by clicking the header name at the top of each column. For example, if you go into the Lumber database (the button with the tree), you can click on the tabs at the top to sort by Lumber Code, Lumber Description, Lumber Specie, or SysID. Then, you can sort again by clicking on the headers at the top of the columns – Lumber Code, Lumber Description, Lumber Specie, Nominal Thickness, Cost per 1000, Quantity Available, Date Last Counted, Notes, or SysID.
The INSERT or CHANGE button will open an Update Form or window.
To navigate through the forms (such as adding items to an order), use the tab key to move from field to field. As in any other Windows-based program, you can place your cursor directly in the field that you wish to edit, or highlight the current entry to replace it.
