Entering Sales Tax Rates
An unlimited number of taxing bodies is supported by the OFFICE Plus system. Each sales tax entry contains the tax rate and the General Ledger revenue account for sales taxes collected.
To view sales tax data, select Sales Tax Maintenance from the Maintenance menu. The Sales Tax Selection Table is displayed.
Sales Tax entries can be added or modified by pressing the Insert button to add a new sales tax entry or by pointing to an existing sales tax entry and then pressing the Change button to view or modify that entry. In both cases the Sales Tax Maintenance Form is Displayed.
The Sales Tax Maintenance Form displays sales tax id, description, tax rate, and the General Ledger account number for sales tax revenue collected.
